Amtwort

Understand a letter

Official letters are often written in a language that even native speakers do not understand immediately. We read the letter carefully and explain in writing what it is about, what is expected of you and which points you should pay attention to.

Amtwort provides assistance with German-language official and formal correspondence. The English version of this website is provided to make the service easier to understand.

  • A statement or reminder whose items are hard to follow

  • Careful reading of the entire letter
  • Explanation in plain, factual language
  • Summary of the key points and of the dates mentioned
  • A note on which details or documents the letter requests

How it works

  1. 1.You describe your matter and upload the letter.
  2. 2.We check manually which package fits and confirm price and timeframe.
  3. 3.You receive the explanation in writing by email.

Limits of the service

We explain the content of a letter linguistically. A legal assessment, an examination of claims or representation before authorities is not part of the service.
