Terms and conditions — information

This page is an explanatory translation for usability only. The German version (AGB) is the authoritative legal text wherever legally permissible.

Amtwort's service itself is provided in German only. The English website exists so you can understand the offer, not to indicate English-language service delivery.

What Amtwort does

Amtwort provides linguistic, editorial and organisational support with German-language written correspondence — understanding official letters, drafting replies and statements, and help with filling in forms.

What Amtwort does not do

Amtwort provides no legal advice, no tax advice and no other regulated professional advice, and never represents you before authorities or courts. You supply the facts, documents and instructions and remain responsible for all substantive and legal decisions, including your own deadlines.

How a contract comes about

Submitting an order is your offer/request. A contract only exists once Amtwort expressly confirms and accepts it. An automatic system receipt is not an acceptance. Amtwort is not obliged to accept every request and may decline before acceptance — for example because it is outside the offered scope, no capacity is available, or performance would be unlawful or impossible. In that case you incur no costs.

Scope, prices and upgrades

Only the specifically accepted package is owed. If more work is needed, Amtwort tells you the new price first; any reclassification or extra work happens only with your explicit approval. The gross total shown before ordering applies — no hidden or automatic upgrades. Payment is handled via the payment methods offered at checkout.

Turnaround and express

Stated turnaround times start only after contract acceptance, once all required documents and information are complete, and — where payment is required before performance for that order — once payment has arrived. Express processing depends on capacity and requires express acceptance.

Withdrawal, liability and law

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal starting on the day of contract conclusion. See the withdrawal information and the statutory model withdrawal form (German legal version).

Liability follows the statutory rules; mandatory consumer rights remain fully intact. Austrian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection and conflict-of-law rules of your country of residence.
