Amtwort provides assistance with German-language official and formal correspondence. The English version of this website is provided to make the service easier to understand.
Amtwort services are available to customers residing in Austria, Germany or Switzerland.
Do you live outside Austria, Germany or Switzerland?
Requests from other countries may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If Amtwort is able to provide the requested service, you will receive an individual offer before placing an order.
- No standard fixed-price checkout and no online payment for residences outside Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
- Your request is reviewed manually first. No contract and no payment obligation arises.
- Acceptance of the case cannot be guaranteed.

Correspondence with authorities and institutions
You tell us what you want to apply for, report or achieve. We turn that into a clear German-language letter and, using publicly available official information, identify the competent body and the submission route provided for it. Where officially published, we also summarise the formal requirements and requested attachments — for example towards employment, business, health-insurance, tax, municipal or insurance bodies.
No legal advice and no assessment of entitlements. Amtwort does not judge whether a particular application is legally justified or which legal steps should be taken. Submission is made by the customer themselves.

You already know which office you want to write to and what you want to communicate, ask or achieve? Amtwort turns that into clear, professional letters in German: up to 5 individual emails or letters within 60 days for the same founding project, digital and ready to send, with one correction round per letter. No start-up, legal, tax or business consulting, no business plan, no process accompaniment, no checking of competences, no checklists and no deadline monitoring.
The package covers only the drafting of up to five specifically ordered letters. Amtwort does not accompany you through the founding process: no consulting, no business plan (not even parts of one), no selection of competent bodies, no checklists, no deadline monitoring, no submissions and no representation.

You upload the German-language form and any related documents and receive written help understanding the fields, assigning your information and formulating free-text answers.

Form assistance in an online appointment
We go through the form together during the booked online appointment, for example using screen sharing. Useful where a written back-and-forth would be unnecessarily complicated.

Possible switch to an online appointment
If a case ordered as written form assistance cannot reasonably be handled asynchronously, Amtwort may propose switching to an online appointment. There is no automatic reclassification and no automatic extra charge: you must explicitly agree and approve any price difference beforehand. Without your consent no paid upgrade is performed.

Online meeting
The online meeting is a separately booked, paid service — it is not part of free customer service. It takes place online via video conference.

Process and rules
- The appointment is booked online in advance.
- Payment is made at booking; the appointment is confirmed only afterwards.
- The meeting takes place online via Zoom or a comparable video-conference service.
- Once the booking is complete you receive the meeting information in writing.
- Available slots will later come from a connected calendar; appointments can only be booked with a minimum notice of several days.
- There are no spontaneous phone calls and no callbacks.
- The appointment duration is fixed. A customer delay does not extend the booked end time.
- If more time is required, another appointment must be booked. Spontaneous extension beyond the booked time is not possible.
- Defined deadlines apply to cancellation and rescheduling; they are shown at booking.

The processing period starts only once the order has been accepted, payment has been received where applicable, and all required documents and information are complete.
How an order is classified
You don't have to guess: classification follows objective criteria — type of service, number of pages, number of documents and attachments, desired result and deadline.
The service you select is not a final classification. If the chosen category or package does not fit your matter, Amtwort may propose a different service or package before accepting and explain the changed price. No additional amount is ever charged automatically, and the order is only accepted once you expressly agree to the scope. Amtwort may also decline an inquiry or order altogether.
No legal advice
Amtwort does not provide legal advice, tax advice or any other regulated professional advice, and does not act as legal representative. The service is limited to linguistic, editorial and organisational support with German-language written communication. Legal assessments and decisions must, where needed, be made by appropriately qualified professionals.
