Right of withdrawal — information

Explanatory translation for usability only. The authoritative legal text is the German Rücktrittsbelehrung. Austrian law (FAGG) speaks of "Rücktritt"; the statutory model materials use "Widerruf" — both mean the same right.

Bracketed details are PRE-LAUNCH placeholders and will be completed before launch.

14 days, no reasons needed

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For Amtwort's services the period begins on the day the contract is concluded, i.e. when Amtwort expressly accepts your order. Submitting the order at checkout is only your request and does not yet start the period.

How to withdraw

Inform us with an unequivocal statement (email or letter is sufficient). You may use the statutory model form, but you do not have to.

You can also use our online withdrawal function — no login required. We record the time your declaration reaches our server.

Send your statement to:

Statutory model withdrawal form (German legal version)

Deadline and consequences

It is enough that you send your statement before the period expires. We refund all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment, at no charge to you.

If you asked us to start early

If you expressly requested that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires and you then withdraw, you owe an amount proportionate to the services already provided — only to the extent permitted by law and only where you received the legally required information beforehand. Without that request we start performance no earlier than after the 14-day period.

The right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed, but only where the statutory conditions are met (your express request, your acknowledgement of losing the right, and the required information having been provided).
